The Center for School, Health and Education is providing capacity-building and technical assistance designed for school-based health care leaders and their school partners to increase health and graduation outcomes for high risk and vulnerable children and adolescents.
With competencies in public health, school-based health care leaders and educators across the country can address the most prevalent, educationally relevant health disparities that interfere with health and educational success. In so doing, they begin to move marginalized youth from disadvantage to equity.
The two-part program merges evidence-based capacity building assistance with practice-enhancing technical assistance. When school-based health care leaders and their school partners work together strategically, they are uniquely positioned to increase health and graduation outcomes of at-risk students.
Recruitment for the 2018 cohort is closed. Please email CSHE@apha.org if you are interested in learning more about the program.
